Sevilla have announced the sale of striker Alvaro Negredo to Manchester City, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The La Liga club have called a ‘farewell’ press conference for the centre forward, who scored 25 league goals for the club last season.
City have agreed a €23million fee for the forward, who is due to complete a medical and agree personal terms at the Etihad.

Last night saw the club make an announcement via the club’s official website regarding the sale of the 27-year-old.
It read: “It’s official: Alvaro Negredo is the new player of Manchester City, pending medical examinations, so Sevilla FC have organised a farewell ceremony at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan at 18:30 BST this evening.
