The Tartan Army stood firm at Hampton Park as they held the 2016 European champions to a goalless draw in a Nations League clash on Tuesday. At the end of the match, Ronaldo was visibly frustrated, which prompted an on-field tantrum, as he felt the referee stopped the game too early. The match official blew the final whistle right before the Portuguese could take a corner.

Along with the Al-Nassr star, Liverpool's Diogo Jota and Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes also had disappointing outings as Portugal looked toothless against a resilient Scottish side. With the draw on Tuesday, Selecao's winning streak in the Nations League came to an end. They had won their previous three matches with Ronaldo scoring in all of them.
