ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
According to the Blues want to create a coaching production line to develop the next generation of managerial talent. The report states Chelsea would welcome Silva, who recently left the club for Fluminense, back in a coaching role and they feel by growing their multi-club network to teams across the world, that could allow the Brazilian and other players the chance to hone their managerial skills there before returning to Stamford Bridge.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Chelsea recruited Enzo Maresca from Leicester as their new head coach earlier this month, replacing Mauricio Pochettino. This was partly due to his apprenticeship under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City but if Chelsea's parent company, BlueCo, can expand their network from the west London side and Strasbourg, they may be setting themselves on the right track in the future in a managerial sense.
